Aug. 7th, 2005 12:24 pmCan I just say that those anonymous memes always make me slightly paranoid? I always get to thinking that the things that might otherwise not be said are about me. I am crazy.
My summer work contract has been extended another few days, to the end of the month. We were supposed to be off on the 26th, which was nice for moving and settling in in Saskatoon before school starts. Don't get me wrong, the extra money will be nice, but the moving right after work on the 31st, not so much.
Signed a six month lease earlier in the month on an apartment. I'm really kind of excited about it, even if I am lacking things like furniture and dishes. Hoping my parents will buy me one or two things for my birthday, before I start liberating milk crates for bookcases. (My own place! For more than four months!)
This is going to be a long and drawn-out move, with things being shuffled back and forth until the end of the month. I so hate moving, and this is the fifth time in the last two years or so I've done it.
Finally finished all of the requested drabbles, so it means I've done some writing in the last five weeks. Am working on an overhaul of my site, and it seems that I seriously haven't written ANYTHING in five weeks or so.
This is uncool.
I don't suppose anyone remembers that I was having trouble with registration? Well, it WAS fixed, but then apparently some sort of turf war broke out over admin putting me into a class that was full, and Bio demanded that I be pulled, so now my only hope is to go in with big eyes and an override form when school starts. As it is not my fault that I was unable to register, and I need the class now to get both degrees in five years, I am hopeful. Will remember to look as cute as possible that day. Fingers crossed.
